This year the block party will take place from Thursday, July 30, through Sunday, August 2, 2026, on South Street between Capitol and Missouri Streets (between Lucas Oil Stadium and the Convention Center). The hours of operation are as follows: 

• Thursday, July 30: 9:00 am-8:00 pm EST 
• Friday, July 31: 9:00 am-8:00 pm EST 
• Saturday, August 1: 9:00 am-8:00 pm EST 
• Sunday, August 2: 9:00 am-4:00 pm EST 

As one of the most anticipated events of the summer, the Gen Con Block Party food truck operations for 2026 will now look like the following:

Quantity of Food Trucks:

30 trucks have been selected via the Gen Con Selection Committee to participate all four days. 

Investment: 

The investment for the four-day event will be $3,000. Your final payment of $2,700 must be submitted by Wednesday, July 16 at 5:00p EST to actively participate.

Location Selection:
Location will be based on size of trucks/trailers and determined by the Gen Con Block Party Committee. 

Daily Restock:

Restocking will be permitted with an assigned pass but will require vehicles to park in a designated area off Missouri and South Street. You and your team will need to hand cart supplies to your operations location. 

Ice:
Ice will be available for purchase on site. Each bag of ice will be $10 and must be paid via credit card at the time of purchase. No cash will be accepted. 

Pre Event Meeting:
A meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14 from 4:30-5:30p EST to review event operations and answer any questions. An invitation to your listed email will be sent prior to that date.
